Paula particularly loves working with Ultraceuticals skincare and incorporating LED into her facial treatments. She also loves to attend to tired and stressed feet with our specialty pedicures.
LanyaLanya is a patient, compassionate, bubbly therapist who enjoys performing facials, massage, manicures and pedicures. Lanya is our 'spray tan queen', known for creating the perfect glow for events, holidays, or just because! Lanya is meticulous with her work. You will be impressed with her level of care and natural ability to make your feel comfortable while with her.
Joelle Moke
Founder and director, Joelle Moke opened Beauty Within Boutique in late 2016. In 2019 she was the proud winner of "Best New Clinic" at the NZ Beauty Association awards. Joelle has continued her personal growth and development in the beauty industry, completing Level 1 Course & Level 2 Advanced Course & Advanced Skin Needling Course with Skin Education International.
She and her family spent 8 years in Brisbane Australia, during that time she managed an award-winning salon for 7 years. She was a finalist in the 2016 Australian Beauty Industry Awards for Best Salon Manager. Her formative years as a beauty therapist were spent in central Wellington NZ at Beauty Therapy clinics and an exclusive day spa.
Joelle graduated from Wellington School of Beauty Therapy in 2002 with both national and international qualifications. She gained CIBTAC (Honours) diploma in 2002 and CIDESCO diploma in 2003. CIDESCO is recognised globally and is the most prestigious qualification in the Beauty Therapy Industry. She also qualified as a licensed IPL/Laser Safety Officer with AACDS in 2016.
Joelle and her team have been part of the NZ Association of Registered Beauty Professionals since 2016. She has a genuine commitment to ongoing industry training both for herself and her staff.
Paula Blundell
Paula started her career as a Physiotherapist for over 10 years, and has worked in NZ, USA, UK and South Africa. After taking time to have her four children Paula transitioned into Beauty Therapy in 2017 training in Masterton NZ at UCOL. She is accredited with the UCOL Diploma of Beauty Therapy Level 5 and the international ITEC diploma.
Paula is very experienced in dermaplaning and loves to perform advanced facials with Ultraceuticals or Lira skincare. She is a pro at our eye trio's and also enjoys pampering tired feet with our pamper pedicures.
Lanya Penman
After many years in the early childhood sector, Lanya achieved her Beauty Therapy Diploma through UCOL Masterton. Lanya's diverse experience in caregiving, combined with her enthusiasm for the beauty industry lends her to be a kind, caring and empathetic beauty therapist.
Lanya is a proud Mum of two grown children who enjoys an active lifestyle, whether that's at the gym, out in the bush, or spending time with her husband and dog.
Lanya's goal is to ensure every client leaves feeling better than when they arrives, more relaxed, confident and at ease. She loves spray tanning, having a good chat over nails or creating a place of peace with calming facials. Lanya looks forward to taking care of you soon.
